VEGAN ART EXPLAINED
Not many people are aware that artwork can be harmful to animals. Cruelty is hidden in many places, from paint brushes, to the canvases.
Art canvases are primed with glue made from the skin of animals such as rabbits.
Paint and other media often include gelatin which comes from the bones of cows or other animals.
Paint brushes can be made from the hair of different animals such as squirrels, horses and pigs to name a few.
I believe that art is beauty, and that beauty starts in our heart. That's why I only use materials which are friendly to animals and the environment alike.
"Art comes from the soul like we come from the earth, from a mouse to a lion, nature is our inspiration and should not be harmed through our artistic expression." - DV
